Well, we're now in Amsterdam. Paris stories will come soon, but I'm blogging this on my phone, and I just got the low battery warning.
In short, Paris was great. More on Paris later....we did have some minor adventures there.
We're in an awesome hostel in Amsterdam called the flying pig.

Photos look great. Only recommendation is to occasionally change your shirt if you care. When kate and i looked back at our backpacking pics we noticed we pretty much only wore 2 shirts :).
Fying pig huh nice choice. meeting anyone on the travels having a good time?
Headed to munich next still? We stayed at "The Tent" there, which was pretty much a giant (think wedding party) tent that you can sleep on the floor or in bunks at. Was fun and met some decent folks but was a little outside of city and had to take the tram in. Ditch the glockenspiels and dont miss the englisher garten river side and Chinesischer Turm (the big pagoda with lots of tasty food and beer). We went to Dacchau and it was ok but maybe not worth the trip. Apparently the trip to eagles nest was beautiful but we didnt make it because we liked the city so much.
In budapest we stayed at The Yellow Submarine (pest side) and it was probably our favorite city in our travels because thats where we met the best people to go out with. Parties go until 6am in the beergardens (buda side, one with big hill and castle) and in the bars on the pest side. Definitely check out the Szechenyi Bath which is right next to the zoo and has a cool outdoor place to relax and a sauna so hot you have to inhale through ice to breath.
Have fun and drink a mass (liter) of beer for me.
